Lorna Virgili

To my father, Manuel Pérez Llanes, who always lived surrounded by female angels.

To the women who were always inspiring muses of his artwork. To them, those who admired him, loved him, and obsessed him. To my paternal grandmother, Belén, who nurtured him. To my mother Graciela, who chose him to be our father and was his faithful friend. To my sister Loretta, his devoted daughter. To those who are passionate about art, in all its forms. To those who have had to emigrate. To the daughters who have suffered the loss of their father. To the daughters who still have their father alive.
